BizzBuzz

Bizz Buzz, India's business e-daily The Hyderabad Media House Limited (HMHL), which carved a niche for itself in the media space with 'The Hans India' daily English newspaper, and 'HMTV', a 24X7 Telugu news channel, embarked on yet another monumental journey with the launch of Bizz Buzz, India's business e-daily. Known for its objective journalism and neutral stance, the Hyderabad Media House, a part of diversified Kapil Group, launched 'Bizz Buzz', a business daily e-paper with national focus and rich, but unbiased content, on November 18, 2020. The thought behind Bizz Buzz India has a rich history and heritage that dates back to over 5,000 years.

That's an undeniable truth. But over the centuries, it also played a pioneering role in the economic well-being of the world. History reveals that India was home to 35 to 40 per cent of global GDP for 1,700 years from 1 AD. That was the reason why India became a prime target for conquests by foreign rulers and outsiders. But India's economy went into a gradual decline in the 18th century as our country crippled by British rule, had failed to capitalise on the earlier phases of the Industrial Revolution. When it got its Independence from the British in 1947, India was among the poorest nations in the world. But the far-reaching economic reforms ushered in by the PV Narasimha Rao government in 1991 helped India unleash its true economic potential and consequently, India's GDP sprinted by a record 11 times to $2.94 trillion in 2019 from a low of $266 billion in 1991.

Further, India witnessed a wider democratisation of its wealth in the aftermath of reforms, leading to a phenomenal rise of the middle class. Given its monumental achievements in the Information Technology and Pharmaceutical sectors thus far in the era of neoliberalism that began in 1991, India is now on the cusp of playing a bigger economic role in the world in the days to come. And If India and its populace take the right steps and effective strategies, the day is not far off when India becomes the world's economic powerhouse.

As an active and proactive business and financial daily, Bizz Buzz intends to play a constructive role in our country's endeavour to accelerate its growth and achieve its goals in the economic sphere. And what's more, it will do that in the digital way in the age of digitalisation and also with local flavour. Thus, the key objectives of Bizz Buzz are to disseminate unbiased news and views, inspire aspirational Indians, encourage courageous entrepreneurs, help budding entrepreneurs flower, eulogize wealth creators, and support all committed and collective efforts to transform India into a global economic powerhouse
